LATEST RESEARCH

Our group is currently working on:

  • Position controlled growth of InGaN based quantum dots and nanocolumns using patterned substrates and selective-area growth followed by the self-aligned epitaxial growth of metal nanocrystals on these InGaN quantum dots and nanocolumns for LEDs, tandem & intermediate band gap solar cells.

  • Metal/Semiconductor Interface, Surface Physics and Nanostructures

  • Water splitting and hydrogen generation using III nitride nanostructures

  • Bio & Chemical sensors based on III nitride and carbon nanostructures.
